David Barr

David Joseph Barr, age 72, passed away on March 9, 2026 at his residence. A graduate of Franklin Heights High School who also attended Paul C. Hayes Technical School, David was a highly talented mechanic. Over the years he worked with many auto dealerships and established several forklift departments at other places of employment.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Jr. and Madeline Barr, his brothers Joseph Barr and Raymond Barr III, and his niece Sarah Brillhart. David is survived by his sister, Michele “Shelly” (George) Owens, his nephew Raymond Barr IV, and many other family members and friends.
