David B. Lundy

David B. Lundy, age 78, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026.

Dave was the beloved husband of Jill Lundy (née Flanagan); loving father of Amy Kleiner (Doug) and Adam Howard (Sandy Thompson); cherished grandfather of Nick Howard and Ali Kleiner. He was the devoted son of Glen A. Lundy and the late Helen R. Lundy (née Carden), and the dear brother of Brian Lundy (Vaunda) and Jeff Lundy.

A graduate of Tallmadge High School in Tallmadge, Ohio, class of 1966, Dave attended the University of Cincinnati on a golf scholarship, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a minor in Economics in 1972. That same year he began his long career in public service with the City of Cincinnati, first as a guard at the Workhouse and then as a member of the Cincinnati Police Department, graduating with the 59th Recruit Class. Assigned first to District 5 and later to District 2, he served with dedication for 25 years before retiring in 1998 with Badge Number 128. He then spent the next 15 years providing security services for American Financial.

In retirement, Dave found joy on the golf course, in the company of his retired brothers and sisters in blue, and in quiet moments with family and friends. He cherished vacations in Florida, loved listening to music, and remained a loyal follower of the PGA Tour and the Cincinnati Reds. Above all, he took great pride in caring for and supporting his family.
