David Arlen Studdard

David Arlen Studdard, age 37, of Cookeville, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born on July 13, 1988, he was the son of Ronnie Studdard and Carol Dunn Prater. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Stella Studdard and Edwin and Ruth Dunn, and his aunt, Karen Ashford.

David worked in plumbing and construction. He was a devoted father who cherished his two children, Cayden Studdard and Arlen Stella Paige Studdard. He is survived by his mother, Carol Dunn Prater (Ricky Foster) of Bradyville; his father, Ronnie Studdard of Cookeville; his brother, Josh “Radar” Johnson; aunts Rhonda (Alex) Case of Cookeville and Vicky (Nelson) Sandlin of Liberty; uncle Wade Ashford of Gassaway; and nephews Logan (Audrey) Johnson of Smithville and Jayden Johnson of Cookeville. Several cousins also survive him.

He will be remembered as a loving father, son, and brother whose presence brought warmth to those closest to him. His memory will live on through his children and the family who loved him.
