April 1, 2001 March 3, 2026

Wayne, PA

David Andrew Thomas Justi, 24, of Wayne, Pennsylvania, died on March 3, 2026 in Philadelphia after one final brief but valiant fight for health. Born in Bryn Mawr in 2001, David attended The Arc First Step in West Chester and The Child and Career Development Center in Coatesville. He possessed a deep love of music and nature, finding delight in the outdoors, birdsong, and the rustling of wind-tossed leaves. Even in the face of challenges, he discovered abundant joy in simple things, leaving a broad and lasting impact on everyone who knew him. His gentle presence continues to inspire strength, love, and joy in all whose lives he touched.

David was a precious son to David and Kathy Justi and a beloved brother to Julia and Emma Justi, as well as his canine brother and best friend, Charlie. He was the heart and soul of his grandmother, Betty Justi, and cherished by many aunts, uncles, and cousins who embraced him with love and tenderness. He was an integral and celebrated member of his family, who feel his absence deeply yet remain committed to honoring his life through joyful gatherings and shared memories.

David is also survived by a devoted team of caregivers and friends, a community of loving champions who supported him throughout his remarkable twenty-four years. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas Royal Justi, John James Barron, and Dorothy Marie Barron (née Arnold), his Uncle John, and Aunt Mary, all of whom adored him in life and now welcome him in heaven. There he has also been reunited with his cousin, Baby Marion, whom he did not meet on earth.
