Born on April 15, 1959, Dave's life was a testament to the love and joy he brought to everyone he knew.Dave is survived by Judy, the love of his life, with whom he shared countless cherished moments. He was a devoted father to Heather (Nathan) McArdle, Kathy Worden, David Moore, Danielle Moore, and Amanda Moore. His role as a grandfather was one he held dear, always ready with a story or a joke for his grandchildren Sarah, Nicholas, Hunter, Cheyanne, Justin, Zachary, Cole, Sage, Rylee, and Shelby, and he was overjoyed at the prospect of welcoming another great-grandchild into the world, joining his adored great-grandchild Brantley. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.Dave's siblings, Rose (Jeff) Ash, Bruce (Debbie) Moore, and Brian (Teresa) Moore, will remember him as a loving and supportive brother. His close friend Darren Hatfield and many others will miss Dave's generous spirit and unwavering friendship. He was preceded in death by his parents, George, stepmother Shirley, and Marilynn his mother, and his siblings Tracey, Jeff, and Jamie, who have welcomed him with open arms.Professionally, Dave was an amazing drywaller, known for his meticulous work and dedication. His legacy in the trade is one of excellence and integrity. In the 1990s, Dave took his love for teamwork and community to the baseball field, where he coached little league, shaping the lives of young athletes with his encouragement and sportsmanship.Dave was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Tigers baseball team, his enthusiasm for the sports was infectious. He found solace in the great outdoors, often going camping and spending quality time with family and friends. Dave's ability to fix anything earned him the affectionate title of the family handyman, a skill he passed on to his children and grandchildren.Described by those who knew him as loving, handy, and generous, Dave's legacy is one of kindness and selflessness. His warm smile and hearty laugh will be remembered by all as the hallmark of a man who lived life to the fullest, cherishing every moment with those he loved.Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Dave's life will be held at a later date.
