Though Daryl may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Daryl touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Syble Evon Wheler and Joseph Smith Lowther, Jr.; her son Brad Lee Vandehei; and her siblings, Val Lowther, Gayle Lowther Dodge and Sharon Rae Lowther.
She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Vandehei; and her children, Michael Vandehei (Sally), Jari Oyler and Scott Vandehei (Tiffany). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary (3408 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Ogden City Cemetery (1875 Monroe Blvd, Ogden, UT 84401).
