He worked as a Corrections Officer for Mercer County Corrections and with the Water and Sewer Department of Monroe Township. Darrin loved spending time and creating unforgettable moments with his family and loved ones, especially big family breakfasts. Darrin was a wildcard known to family and friends he had always lived life to the fullest without any hesitation or regret which had led him to tell some of the best stories throughout life. He enjoyed to travel, especially to the beach and Atlantic City, liked to crab and fish and he was a fitness/health enthusiast since a young boy. He loved to watch sports, mainly just all Philadelphia teams, but the Denver Broncos were his second up pick and the Dallas Cowboys never being one.He is survived by his Parents Paul and Joan Eick; Sister Kimberly Eick-Yarmlak; Children, Julian Eick, Darrin Eick and Angelina Eick; Daughter-in-law Charline Eick; Grandchildren Isabella, Jayla-Rae, and Gianni; Girlfriend Silvia Donofrio; and his dog Chuck/Charles (best friend).Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 from 5-8pm with a service at 7pm at The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton, NJ 08542.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
