In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Darriel had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Darriel may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Joiner and Eudelle Mullis Joiner; his daughter Linda Fulford; and his siblings, Ray Joiner and Helen Harrell.

He is survived by: his wife Christine C. Joiner; his daughters, Sheilah J. Smith (Steve) and Connie L. Wilson (Ronnie); and his nephew Hilton Joiner. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oakdale Baptist Church Cemetery (2322 Oakdale Rd, Dublin, GA 31021).
