A memorial gathering will be held 1:00 – 3:00 PM, Friday, March 20, 2026 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133.He was born December 3rd, 1957 in Independence Missouri to George and Dorothy Delameter. He was the 5th of six children. Mom always said what a "Happy Boy" he was, always smiling. Darrel grew up on a small farm in Lee's Summit with his siblings. Sheila, Dale, Katie, Carol, and Marsha.He attended the Blue Springs School district. Class of 1976. Darrel loved Rock and Roll, fast cars and living life to the fullest. He was a loyal fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and never missed a Royals game. Darrel was retired from his career in the Food and Beverage Industry.More than anything, his heart was full of love and humor for his family, friends and God.
