He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Hoelz and Mae Hoelz; his son-in-law Brad Haubrich; and his brother Jerome. He is survived by: his daughters, Marylu Heldt (Robert) and Barbara Haubrich; his grandchildren, Ryan Heldt, Michael Heldt (Aleena), Steven Haubrich (Paige), Amy Vandiepenbeeck (Marc) and Lisa Haubrich; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Madilyn Heldt, Hailey Remich (Jack), Brailynn Haubrich, Bradley Frank, Saylor Haubrich, Eleanor Vandiepenbeeck, Margot Vandiepenbeeck and Kaylani Haubrich; and his sister-in-law Valerie Hoelz. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, March 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Schmidt Funeral Home of West Bend (629 Cedar St, West Bend, WI 53095). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
