Though his time on earth was far too short, Darnell lived each day with a spirit, energy, and love that touched every life around him.Darnell is survived by his loving mother, Cecilia Mays Ramey; his devoted grandparents, Crystal Bostic Mays and Harold Mays; and his brothers, Gabriel Bostic and Jacob Sykes, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He is also survived by his uncles, Wayne Mays, Matthew Mays, and Jonathan Mays, as well as numerous aunts, cousins, and friends who were all blessed to know and love him.Those who knew Darnell will remember him as someone whose heart was larger than life. He had a smile that could calm the storm and a laugh that could light up even the heaviest room. His presence brought joy, comfort, and connection, gifts he offered freely and without hesitation.A scripture that guided him, Philippians 4:13, was engraved on a bracelet he wore: "Through God all things are possible" This verse was not only a symbol of his faith, but a reflection of the resilience, courage, and hope he demonstrated in every chapter of his life.May his light continue to shine in the memories we hold, and may his love remain with us always.Memorial Graveside 11:00 am Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Pollard Cemetery in Kodak, TN, with Rev, Mark Howell officiating.
