Darlene Moon Ward

Darlene Moon Ward, 73, of Wauchula, Florida, passed away on March 13, 2026, in Sebring, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady Moon and Alene Patterson Moon, her daughter Ashley Nicole Ward, and her sister Cynthia Moon.

Darlene is survived by her son, Shane Ward of Wauchula, and her companion, Robert Bandy of Wauchula. She dedicated 27 years of service as a Deputy Clerk to the Hardee County Clerk of Court before retiring in 2011 from the Florida Department of Education, where she worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Technician.

Her quiet strength, steady presence, and years of faithful service left a lasting impression on those who knew her. She will be remembered with deep affection by her son and her companion, who remained by her side.
