Darlene McGlothlin ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Owens Funeral Service - Lebanon on Mar. 16, 2026.Lebanon, Virginia -- Darlene Harris McGlothlin, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Russell County, Virginia, on July 13, 1943, to the late Whitt and Maggie Harris.Darlene loved the Lord and spending time with her family. She never met a stranger and enjoyed talking and telling old stories.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell McGlothlin and nephew, J.D. Harris.Survivors include her children, Jackie Morrison (Donnie), Kenneth McGlothlin (Bonnie), Opal "Tootsie" Salyers (Mike), Ronnie McGlothlin (Anita), Anthony McGlothlin (Lynn), Alison Warren (Ray), and Regina Gilbert; best friend, Marion Salyer; sister, Anna Jean Chaney. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in the Owens Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Donnie Musick and Rev. Rick Gibson officiating.Interment will follow in the McGlothlin Family Cemetery in Cleveland, Virginia.
