Beloved wife of Leonard Andrews for 66 years; loving mother of Kenneth Andrews, Ronald (Meryl) Andrews, Karen (Bruce) Meehan, & Sharon (Dave) Klein; dearest grandmother of Sarah, Carolyn, Chelsea, Josh, Rachel, Chloe, Chad, Destiney, Natalie and Natte; greatgrandmother of four; sister of Raymond (Rose) Velthuysen and aunt of Clint Velthuysen.Darlene left behind countless memories shaped by her passions and the time spent with her family & friends. Whether it was playing cards, going on her extravagant cruises, building puzzles, cross-stitching, or enjoying margaritas with her girls and watching football with the family.She spent the beginning of her life residing in Warren and Rochester Hills, MI with her husband and children before they retired to Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. Her time in Michigan was full of traveling with her family and working at the strawberry farm.Darlene truly cherished her time in Tennessee where they enjoyed boat rides, playing cards, crafting, and spending time with her friends. Darlene will forever be missed and remembered by all that knew and loved her. We take comfort in knowing she is at peace and reunited with her loved ones in heaven.A memorial visitation will be held from 4pm till 7pm on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Modetz Funeral Home, 100 East Silverbell Road, Orion MI, 48359.In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to Make-A-Wish Foundation.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
