Darla Sue McPherson

Darla Sue McPherson, age 35, of Moody, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026.

Born in Temple, Texas, to Darron and Stephanie McPherson, Darla built a meaningful career at Texas A&M College of Medicine, where she served as Assistant Director of Evaluation and Assessment. She was respected by her colleagues for her dedication and professionalism as she supported the advancement of medical education.

Darla had a deep love for traveling, concerts, and Broadway musicals. She cherished spending time with family and friends, embracing opportunities to explore new places and experiences and creating lasting memories with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Susie Pruett, grandfathers Jimmy Pruett and Jerry McPherson, and uncle Barry McPherson.

Darla is survived by her loving parents, Darron and Stephanie McPherson; her sister, Cortney McPherson; her grandmother Darlene McPherson; and a large, loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who will carry her memory forward. She will be remembered for her kindness, her love of life, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
