Darla J. Blystone-Dunn

Darla J. Blystone-Dunn, 60, of Dover, passed away on March 6, 2026, at York Hospital. Born on December 1, 1965, to Mona E. Blystone, Darla graduated from Apollo-Ridge High School in 1984. She worked at York Hospital for 20 years before spending the last four years with On Point Health Services. A woman of quiet faith, she attended Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene in York and Friendship Community Church in Dover.

Darla shared 36 years of marriage with her husband, Wesley H. Dunn Jr. She is survived by her son, Seth Dunn; stepdaughter, Candace (Scott) Fink; her mother, Mona Blystone; and her siblings, Karen (Danny) Ferrero, Cheryl (Charles) Weaver, Ruth Blystone, Lee (Dee) Blystone, Robert Blystone, Melvin (Traci) Blystone, and Leland (Brenda) Blystone. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and an uncle. She was preceded in death by her sister, Bea.

Those who knew Darla will remember her gentle spirit and the love she held for her family. At her request, there will be no public viewing. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at North Apollo Church of God. Memorial gifts may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in her honor.
