Danny Ray Odom

Danny Ray Odom of Laneville, Texas, passed away on March 17, 2026 at the age of 81.

Danny was a devoted family man whose quiet presence and steadfast love left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He cherished his role as a father and brother, finding deep fulfillment in the bonds he shared with those closest to him. Though he is no longer with them, the memories of his gentle strength and unwavering care continue to comfort and guide his loved ones.

He was predeceased by his parents, Dan Odom Jr. and Norma Jean Odom (Stelzer); his wife Elizabeth Odom; and his siblings, Billy Glenn Odom, Charles Mack Odom and Retha Odom Hays.

He is survived by his son Daniel Odom of Henderson; and his sisters, Jeannie Courts (Oliver) of Nederland, Dixie Davis (Jimmy) of Vidor, Scherry Orr of Nederland and Polly Vardeman (Michael) of Laneville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as other family and friends.
