He entered this world on January 28, 1955, along with his twin sister Annie Owens Tucker, in Lepanto, AR. Born to Willie B. Owens and Katherine Hall Owens of Lepanto, AR.He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters Mary Hendrix and Margie Bromley, 1 brother-in-law Donnie Bromley, and 1 sister-in-law Dot Brooks.He is survived by his wife of 50 years Melinda Hammond Owens of Warren, AR. His 2 Daughters Donna Owens Bratton (Jimmy) of Banks, AR and Danya Faye Owens of Warren, AR. Two grandsons Draven Kayne Owens of Banks, AR and Jackson (Jack) Danyl Bratton of Banks, AR and One granddaughter Emileigh Faye Owens of Warren, AR.He is also survived by his twin sister Annie Owens Tucker (Henry) of Lepanto, AR, brother-in-law Carl Hendrix of Lepanto, AR, and brother-in-law Dennis Brooks of Smithville, AR. 4 sisters-in-law (the Hammond girls) Shelia, Susie, Pennye, Jackie, and 2 brothers-in-law Marty Ward and Bud Hammond. He was survived by 9 nieces, 11 nephews and way too many great nephews and great nieces to list.If you knew anything at all about Danny, he loved football, hot rods (Mustangs), his Chihuahua Joey, his family and friends but most of all his grandkids were his world.Danny Lee Owens joined the United States Air Force in March of 1976 and was honorably discharged in April of 1992, retaining the rank of a Staff Sergeant. His greatest tour was when he went to Galena, Alaska and he always wanted to go back. After his career in the Air Force, he went on to be a truck driver until he got sick in 2002.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
