Danny Eugene Miller

June 4, 1954 March 12, 2026

Enid, OK

A Celebration of Life for Danny Eugene Miller, age 71, of Enid, will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Funeral and cremation arrangements by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Danny was born June 4, 1954, in Enid, to Ira and Lila Mae (Goodpasture) Miller, and passed away March 12, 2026, at his home surrounded by the love of his family.

He was a lifelong resident of Enid, attending Enid public schools, graduating in 1972. He participated in track and field, baseball and co-ed softball. Following graduation, he married Sharon Griffith-Cornforth, they divorced amicably, remaining friends. While playing co-ed softball, he met Carla Yell, and they married August 6, 1976. Together they had three children, Darla Mae, Danny Eugene, Jr., and Derrick James. He started working at Great Lakes Carbon in 1974, retiring in March of 2000, after almost 29 years. Following retirement, he was happiest when he was with his kids and grandkids.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, son, Danny Miller, Jr., and uncle Arlis (Delos) Miller. He is survived by his children, Darla Ging of Enid, son Derrick Miller and wife Rikki, of Pueblo, CO, seven grandchildren, Jasmine Nicole Smith and husband Tucker, of Oklahoma City, Morgan Renae, of Oklahoma City, Christian Price Campbell, of Austin, TX, Rory Law, of Enid, Hope June, Liberty Mae, and Freedom Rain Miller, all of Pueblo, CO, two sisters, Debbie Peterson and Mark of MO; Diane Miller, of Enid, and brother Darrell Miller of Enid, as well as nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

The family would like to thank Jimmy Clark and Minton and Tess Meager for their friendship and love that they showed Danny throughout his life, and special thank you to Minton for saving Danny's life more than once during the years they worked together at Great Lakes Carbon.

Danny was an animal lover, he fed all the 'critters' that came to his home; birds, squirrels, cats, dogs, raccoons, skunks, you name it, so he would be pleased if memorial contributions in his name went to the Enid SPCA so that more animals can be helped. Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home will serve as custodian of the funds.
