Danny Bob Davis

Danny Bob Davis, 70, of Gainesville, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, in Gainesville.

Born on October 1, 1955, and raised in Leonard, Texas, Danny grew up active in FFA and cherished the close-knit community that helped form his hardworking and friendly character. After graduating from Leonard High School, he attended East Texas State University in Commerce, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree.

In 1983, Danny married the love of his life, Bonnie Brewer. The couple made their home in Gainesville, where they spent 42 years surrounded by family and friends, creating a lifetime of shared memories. Danny worked for nearly 20 years at the Case dealership in Gainesville before joining Peterbilt in Denton, where he continued until his retirement.

Danny found joy in life’s simpler pleasures. He loved camping, fishing, and working on tractors, and he had a gift for making friends with nearly everyone he met. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his family and the many lasting friendships he formed over the years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Bonnie Davis of Gainesville; his daughter, Pam Tedder and husband Robbie of Midlothian, Texas; sister-in-law Ruby Compton and husband Jeff of Rowlett, Texas; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, John Harold Davis and Wenona Marie Davis.
