Daniel Zachery Vanherpen

Daniel Z. Van Herpen, age 38, of Hope Mills, North Carolina, passed away on March 11, 2026. Born on January 6, 1988, in Winter Haven, Florida, Daniel was a dedicated hard worker who balanced his responsibilities with a genuine love for life. He cherished time spent with friends and family, greeted everyone with warmth and openness, and never met a stranger.

His greatest joy and motivation was his son, Peyton, whom he loved deeply and was immensely proud of. Daniel’s memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rene Van Herpen. Daniel is survived by his son, Peyton Van Herpen; his mother, Patricia Van Herpen; his sisters, Melissa Emerson and Jennifer V. Swain (Kenneth); and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
