Daniel Westman

Daniel Luther Westman, 58, of Aitkin, passed away at his home on March 11, 2026. Born on September 29, 1967, in Minneapolis to Luther M. and Susan (Nelson) Westman, he grew up with a strong work ethic and a quiet sense of duty that defined his life.

A U.S. Army veteran who served with honor, Daniel went on to become a skilled Master Plumber and machinist. Known as a “jack of all trades,” he took pride in his ability to repair, build, and solve problems with his hands. He approached life with competence and independence, earning the respect of those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Daniel is survived by his daughter, Amanda Pancratz; his sister, Angie Westman; his brother, Michael (Sallianne) Westman; his cousin, Amanda Weis and her family; his grandchildren; nieces and nephews; other special relatives and friends; and his devoted best friend, Miss Shitters. A private burial service will be held.
