Daniel Wright ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Griffin Funeral Home - West Monroe on Mar. 7, 2026.Daniel Wesley Wright, born on the 8th of April 1978, in the close-knit community of McClellan, Alabama, left this world peacefully on the 7th of March 2026, in Monroe, Louisiana.Known for his mechanical prowess, Daniel could often be found under the hood of a car, fine-tuning engines with a skill and passion that made him a respected figure among peers and in the community. His dog Bubba was never far from his side, a loyal companion during long hours spent in the garage. Daniel's love for grilling BBQ was parallel to his love for company and playing pool with his friends.He is preceded in death by his father, Joshua Wright; cousins, Scott and Michael Miller than he loved to play pool with.Daniel's life was enriched by his mother, Lois Wright and spouse Clyde Morgan; very special friend, Matthew Byrd, who stood by him through thick and thin.He shared an unbreakable bond with his siblings-Brandy, Josh, alongside his wife, Kerrie, and Julie, with her husband, Jim. Their childhood was filled with laughter and the life lessons that would shape them into the compassionate people they grew to be.He also leaves behind nine nieces and nephews, very special nephew Christian Nelson, David Esparza, Hannah McGrew, Johnathon Wright, Nathan Wright, Emily Lewis, Josh Wright Jr., Cynthia Wilson and Steven Wilson; ten great nieces and nephews, Delilah McGrew, Daphne McGrew, Gabriella Lewis, Azula Lewis, Kayden Wright, Wesley Wright, Ashtrid Wright, Rosietta Roberson, Alejandrea Roberson, and Aezaylah Wilson.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
