Warwick, RI

Daniel U. Toole, 53, of Warwick, passed away on Friday, March 6th. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frederick J. and Margaret R. (Nichols) Toole and a lifelong resident of Warwick.

Daniel will be remembered as a kind-hearted man whose greatest joy was his family. He loved his children deeply and was a loyal friend to many. With a natural ability to connect with people, he never met a stranger he couldn’t befriend. His warmth, humor, and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He held a deep love of history, often reading history books and sharing stories about the past. A devoted soccer fan, he especially loved cheering for Liverpool F.C. through every season.

A true Rhode Islander at heart, Daniel found great happiness outdoors. Some of his happiest moments were spent fishing, camping, walking along the beach, and swimming in the ocean. He found peace near the water and cherished the simple beauty of the coast. Above all, he valued the people in his life, believing in friendship, laughter, and making others feel welcome. His presence brought people together, and his loyalty to those he loved never wavered.

He is survived by his children, Daniel Upton, Maxwell Perry, Ethan Joseph, and Kolby Liam Toole, and by their mother, Jennifer, with whom he shared 29 years of marriage. He is also survived by his brothers, James Toole, Frederick Toole, Lawrence Toole, Mathew Toole, and Andrew Toole; and his sisters, Margaret Aboldo, Claire Kirshner, Martha Fortin, Katherine Chamberlain, Barbara Lane, Anne Cabrera, and Joanna Toole. He was predeceased by his siblings John Toole, Robert Toole, and Mary Toole. Daniel also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, along with many extended family members and friends whose lives were made better by knowing him. His legacy of kindness, friendship, and love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
