Daniel Lee Irwin Sr.

Daniel Lee Irwin Sr., age 62, of Aynor, passed away unexpectedly on March 8, 2026. He was the devoted husband of the late Kari Lynn Cypher Irwin and the son of the late Homer and Hannah Shondelmyer Irwin. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his in-laws, Robert and Irene Cypher; one sister-in-law, Julie Irwin; one great-nephew, Landon Akins; and a cousin, Johnny Keltz.

Daniel cherished his family and friends above all else and found his greatest joy in spending time with his granddaughters. He loved to cook, garden, hunt, and fish, made regular trips to Bear Camp, and was always tinkering with something in his spare time.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephany Irwin (Juelie Lane); two sons, D.J. Irwin (Kristin) and Spencer Rand (Jess); four granddaughters, Shelbey, Jianna, Leigha, and Leivi; two brothers, Rick Irwin (Lisa) and Bob Irwin; one sister, Cathy Irwin; three sisters-in-law, Kim Knappenberger, Karen Budosh, and Tiffanie Signorella (Joe); and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Daniel will be laid to rest with his wife in Pennsylvania this spring.
