Daniel James Beck

Daniel James Beck, 39, of Wichita, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Born on July 17, 1986, to Jim and Carol Beck, Daniel grew up with a quiet determination that carried him through life. After graduating from Kansas State University, he built a career as a software developer, bringing focus and creativity to his work.

Daniel was a devoted husband to his wife, Ashley, and a loving father to their three children, Maddison, Everett, and Henry. He cherished time with his family and found joy in the everyday moments spent with those closest to him. He is survived by his parents, Jim and Carol; his wife, Ashley; his children, Maddison, Everett, and Henry; his grandparents, Ernest and Helen McClain and Elsie Beck; his sister, Melissa Beck; his father- and mother-in-law, Vincent and Trish Frees; his brothers-in-law, Erik Frees and Sean Frees; his sister-in-law, Melanie Frees; and his nieces and nephews, Aidan, Connor, Kylie, and Rory Frees.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Beck, and his brother-in-law, Ryan Desemo.

A memorial has been established with the Beck Children Dance Fund in care of Ashley Beck.
