Daniel Marshall ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Hogg Funeral Home & Crematory on Mar. 6, 2026.Daniel "Danny" Harrison Marshall, of Gloucester, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the age of 61. He was born on October 22, 1964, to the late Allen and Lilly Mae Rowe Marshall. He graduated from Gloucester High School with honors and, upon graduation, worked for Liberty Tax Service. He also often helped his watermen friends. He also liked to read; he even read the Bible from front to back, at least 5 times. He enjoyed listening to Christian music. He was a traveling man with a warm smile, who could always be seen with a Big Gulp in his hand. He always took pleasure in opening the doors at 7-11 for everybody, followed by "God Bless You." Danny was a well-known member of the Gloucester community and will be missed being seen and greeted by many. Danny is survived by his brother, Russell "Pops" Marshall. A graveside service, officiated by Pastor Bill West, will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 11:00 am at Bellamy Memorial Cemetery -4870 Chestnut Fork Road, Gloucester, Virginia 23061.
