Funk and Savilla B. (Heishman) Funk.He had retired after 26 years as a custodian at Sentara Hospital in Harrisonburg, VA. He loved animals and was a friend to everyone.Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Stillwell Funk and a sister, Beatrice Link.He is survived by his brother, Richard Funk, sisters, Blanche Sager, Maxine Helmick, Virginia Mansberger, and step-daughters, Denise Mather (John) and Susan Weekes (Stephen Briggs).A private graveside service will be held at Rock Oak Cemetery, Bean Settlement, WV.All arrangements are handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
