Born on March 31, 1959, in Royal Oak, Michigan, to the late Deforest and Betty (Beard) Rinz.Daniel grew up with his brothers Dirk (Donna) Rinz and David (Anita) Rinz. Though he was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel's legacy is carried on through his brothers, their families, and the many extended family members and friends.An avid boater, Daniel's happiest moments were spent on the waters of Michigan's numerous lakes, with a particular fondness for the Holloway Reservoir. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his passion for football. A lifelong fan of the Detroit Lions, he never missed a game and enjoyed discussing the team's highs and lows with anyone who shared his enthusiasm for the sport.Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Life in honor of Daniel will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Daniel can be made to the United Hospice of Marlette.
