Daniel B. Green

Daniel Benjamin “Benji” Green, 62, of Atlanta, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in Sylvester, Georgia.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Benji had called Atlanta home since 2002. A devoted car enthusiast, he found joy in Chinese cuisine, watching wrestling, and cooking for others. He possessed a broad and generous view of family; anyone fortunate enough to cross his path quickly became part of it. With a heart of gold, he would give his last to ensure that those he loved never went without. Hard-working, focused, and determined, Benji was committed to being the man his family needed. His greatest joy was providing for and spoiling his girls.

He is survived by his daughters, Danielle Green, Olivia Thomas (Channing), and Shornice Wallace; grandchildren Payton Wilson, Kase Wallace-Glover, Amelia Diamond, Daniel Diamond, and Barry Diamond III; and siblings Ella Jennings, Jerome Spencer (Robin), John Richard Green IV (Marlene), and Brenda Green-Abrams (Billy), along with a host of nieces and nephews whom he cherished as his own.
