He was born in Atlanta to the late James Robert Gardner, Jr., and Violet Miller Gardner. He is also deceased by his brother; Bobby Gardner and daughter; Victoria Lauren Clanton. He is survived by his son; Stephen Tyler Gardner of Forest Park, siblings; Jerry (Pat) Gardner of Locust Grove, Tommy (Deborah) Gardner of Jackson, nieces, nephews and extended family. A Funeral Service willbe held at 1 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2026 in the Chapel of Ford Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
