With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Damon Hayden of Lexington, South Carolina, born in North, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Damon left this world on March 6, 2026 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vurdaniel Hayden and Helen Carroll; and his siblings, Annie Louise Duggans, Carnelia Sandoval and John Hayden.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy J. Hayden; his children, Damon Hayden, Jr. and Kayce Hayden; and his siblings, Daniel Hayden (Kim), Patrick O'Briant and Melinda O'Briant.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Springdale Baptist Church (357 Wattling Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170).
