Damian J. Vaudo of Gates passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the age of 71. Predeceased by his parents, Pasquale and Carmella Vaudo, he is survived by his daughter, Angela (Ralph) Missell; his grandson, River Missell; his uncle, Felix Vigna; and many cousins and dear friends.
Damian retired from the City of Rochester after a long career. He cherished time spent with his family and friends, whether meeting for coffee, sitting at Wegmans, walking in the park, visiting the beach, or simply driving around town. A dedicated father, grandfather, and friend, he was known for his generosity and would readily give the shirt off his back to help others. One of a kind, Damian had a special way of making everyone around him smile.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
