Dalton Leon Moore

Dalton Leon Moore, age 74, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, his parents, and two brothers. Dalton is survived by his loving wife, Sue Moore of Tunnel Hill; his sons, Danny McClure of Chatsworth and Mitchell McClure of Calhoun, Georgia; his sisters, Marlene Moore and Brenda Jackson, both of North Carolina; his brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Jane Land of Dalton, Georgia, and Larry Land of Lafayette, Georgia; his grandchildren, Stephanie McClure, Misty Pham, Denise Cain, Tammy Cain, and Ashley Irvin; four step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and extended family.

Dalton lived a life rooted in family and faith, cherishing the bonds he shared with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Those who knew him will remember the quiet strength and steady presence he brought to their lives. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will carry his memory with them always.
