Dallas M Fautin

May 22, 1949 February 22, 2026

Las Vegas, NV

Dallas Marion Fautin, age 76, passed away at his home on February 22, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dallas was born on May 22, 1949, in Salina, Utah to Adley Marion and Rachel Mary Fautin. From a young age he had a curiosity for how things worked and a natural talent for building and fixing things.

Dallas faithfully served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Toppenish, Washington. He met his future wife and love of his life, Judy Fautin, while on his mission. On February 25, 1972, he married her in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they built a life centered on family, faith and hard work.

Dallas had many hobbies and passions. As a teenager he built his first computer, showing the technical skills that would stay with him throughout his life. He also had a green thumb and loved tending to his large garden. Family and friends will fondly remember the homemade bread he baked and his willingness to help anyone who needed it.

Dallas is survived by his daughters, Tara Fautin and Tawni Sangster (Aaron Sangster). He was a proud grandfather to Destinee Shults, Alyssa Sangster, Mackenzie Sangster, Aidan Sangster and Jordan Sangster. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judy Fautin; his son, Adley Fautin; his parents, Adley Marion and Rachel Fautin; and his brothers, Thomas Fautin, and Brent Fautin.

A viewing will be held Friday, March 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. A second viewing will be held Saturday, March 21, from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11 a.m., at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123

Interment will take place at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
