Dale Whiting

Dale Alfred Whiting 1950 - 2026 - Alfred (Dale) Whiting Awesome Dad, Caring Brother Born on September 16, 1950 and died on March 6, 2026 at home in Sandy, Utah. Dale was a generous and caring person. He was a dedicated family man to his wife, siblings, children and numerous grandchildren. He loved being outdoors and spent countless days camping, hunting and fishing. He was a master at keeping his yard, and always welcomed the neighbor kids who all called him "grandpa". He worked many years at Murray City Public Works until retirement. He was loved by those who knew him, and was a friend to many. He is sorely missed. Dale is survived by his children: Robert Crebs, Brenda Palmer, Kaylene Millsap, Jay Deakin; siblings: Max, Janene, Ron, Nancy, Louise , Troy and numerous grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Hewitt and Eloise, his wife Sylvia and son Douglas "Chuck" Crebs. Thank you dad for being the father you never had to be. Graveside services will take place on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 11:00 am at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary & Cemetery (3115 Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, UT).
