Dale R. Kekelis

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dale R. Kekelis of Fairlawn, Ohio, who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As Dale departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dale may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dale leaves behind.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Richard and Laverne Kekelis; his wife Dawn Kekelis; his daughter Jessica Recker (Matt); his stepgrandchildren, Lily and Conner Reed; and his sister Barb DeHoff.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel (85 N Miller Rd, Akron, OH 44333). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Hilary Parish (2750 W Market St, Fairlawn, OH 44333). A burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (480 W Highland Rd, Northfield, OH 44067).
