Dale "Bud" Fout Jr.

Ashville Dale “Bud” Fout Jr., age 84 of Ashville, passed away on March 15, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born on June 5, 1941 in Ashville, Ohio, to the late Dale and Dorothy (Ward) Fout, Bud graduated from Ashville Harrison High School in 1960. He spent many years working as a superintendent for Lehmens and Associates.

Bud was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Dianne Fout; his daughter Shana Rose McManus; his granddaughter Elizabeth Ann McManus; his grandson Heath Allen Snyder; and his sister Carolyn Miller. He is survived by his daughters Erin (Mark) Songer and Karah (Micah) Crumley; grandchildren Caitlin Snyder, Blake (Destiny) Snyder, Allyson and Kaleb (Jessica) McManus, Jacob (Julia) Fout, Rachel (Josh) Carpenter, Mathew McNeely, and Brogan Crumley; great-grandchildren Emma, Brynn, Brody, Eli, Aubrie, Fallon, Odin, Keegan, Nora, Theodore, Rosalind, Kameron, Gwynevire, and Paige; his sister Carol; special niece Susan; and his beloved dog, Cody.

Bud lived a full life rooted in the community he called home, quietly devoted to his family and the work he did with care and integrity. Those who knew him will remember the steady presence he offered to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and the quiet joy he found in the everyday rhythms of family life.
