Daisy Mae Cumberland

Daisy Mae Cumberland, 79, of Elizabeth, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Jefferson Hospital. Born on September 24, 1946, in Confluence, she was the daughter of the late Chanciey and Rosella (Anderson) Lowdermilk.

In addition to her parents, Daisy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Cumberland, and her sister, Patty Lowdermilk. She is survived by her daughters, Paula Barnes (Cleve) and Brenda Haines (Derrick), both of Elizabeth; her granddaughter, Tara Amanda Barnes; her niece, Patty Ford; and many other nieces and nephews.

For more than thirty years, Daisy worked as a cook at Puck Jones Restaurant in Elizabeth. She found great joy in cooking, crafting, gardening, and camping at Big Bear Campground. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family and friends, especially her beloved granddaughter.

Daisy will be remembered for her warm heart and the loving way she cared for those closest to her.
