Gun Barrel City, TX

Cynthia Rose Bailey, age 6 months, of Gun Barrel City, Texas, passed away on March 6, 2026. Cynthia was born on August 25, 2025, in Athens, Texas, to parents David Wayne Bailey, Jr., and Jazmyne Sky Bailey.

Baby Cynthia was a radiant light, full of personality and character that exceeded her tender age. She was curious, always eager to explore her surroundings, delighted by the simplest of things. Her laugh, giggle, and adorable squeals filled the air with happiness, bringing smiles to the faces of everyone fortunate enough to be in her presence. She displayed an infectious joy as she danced in her bouncer.

Those who knew Cynthia admired her goofy and sassy nature. She had a mischievous charm about her that was complemented beautifully by her intelligence and sweetness. Cynthia was stubborn in the most endearing way, and she demonstrated her strength during her proudest accomplishments, such as her first roll and that moment when she successfully took her bottle. And who could forget those precious moments when she cuddled up, offering warmth and comfort to all around her?

Cynthia’s delightful baby conversations, filled with coos and babbles, were like a sweet symphony of innocence and curiosity that captivated everyone who heard them. She radiated a special magic that transformed ordinary moments into cherished memories. Though her time with us was brief, the love she shared and the joy she brought into our lives will remain forever cherished in our hearts.

Cynthia is survived by her parents, David and Jazmyne Bailey; mimi, Teresa Spurgeon; nana, Jennifer Romano; uncles, Elliott Latham, Jonathan Latham, Robert Sherman, Wiley Sherman, Casey McCraw, Thomas Wreath, Jeffrey Romano, and Johnnie Romano; aunts, Kristen Clagg, Leslie McCraw, and Phiebi Ellison; as well as numerous family, friends, and loved ones.
