Colora, MD
Cynthia (Cindy) Marie Wallace, 51 years, Colora, MD, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026 in the ChristianaCare Union Hospital of Elkton, MD, surrounded by her loving family. Cindy was born April 9, 1974 in Havre de Grace, MD.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Neal Wallace; sons, Evan Michael Wallace and Kyle James Wallace; the daughter of James and Deborah Barton; and sister, Beth Dawn Jeffers (Rob).
Cindy was a member of Freedom Church of Rising Sun, MD, and was employed by the Cecil County Public School System, as a tutor at Bainbridge Elementary School, Port Deposit, MD.
Cindy found peace in gardening nature's beauty with patience, much like she did with the people she loved. Traveling allowed her to share many experiences and memories that meant the most.
Her greatest legacy lives on in the two young men she helped raise.
Her life reminds us that the most meaningful things are often the simplest: Love, family, and being present for moments that matter.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Freedom Church www.myfreedom.org.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2026, 11 a.m., at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, March 19th, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Pastor Mark Grissom of Freedom Church will officiate. Interment will be in Brookview Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD.
