Cynthia Louise Platt

Cynthia Louise Platt, 63, of Blytheville, passed away at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro on March 8, 2026. She was born on May 26, 1962, in Hayti, Missouri, to Arlin “Poncho” Killingsworth and Mary Brown.

Cynthia found quiet joy in reading Harlequin romance novels, playing cards, listening to music, camping, and watching the Hallmark channel. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, whose lives she filled with love and presence.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 35 years, Michael Platt; one brother, James Killingsworth; one sister, Mary Stockman; and one step-sister, Teresa Killingsworth.

Cynthia is survived by her daughters, Tabitha Self, Melissa (Teddy) Barnes, and Brooke Reggins; her sons, James (Laura) Platt, James (DeAnn) Robinson, Lonnie Stockman, and James Stockman; her sisters, Patsy (Ray) Smith and Judy (Fred) Green; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a wide circle of friends and family who will miss her deeply.
