Cynthia Lou Roy

Cynthia Lou Roy, born on June 30, 1947, in Niles, Michigan, to the late Clifton Burmingham and Margaret Nichols, passed away on March 2, 2026.

Cynthia spent her working life as a waitress in the hospitality industry, where her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on those she served. She took greatest joy in her roles as grandmother and friend, always the first to arrive when someone she loved needed her. She was known for her exceptional baking, her generous spirit, and her remarkable ability to brighten the days of everyone around her.

She is survived by her children, Mark (Tracey) Chernugel, Cristen (Tracy) Hamilton, and Corey Milner, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Madison Chernugel, Arianna Rhynard, and Taryn Hamilton.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her daughter, little Cindy. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.
