Cynthia Humphrey

Cynthia Ann Humphrey (Sioda), 70 of Worcester, MA passed away peacefully March 11, 2026 after an illness, with her loving family by her side.

Cindy was born March 28,1955 in Worcester to Fred W. Stake and Marilyn D. Stake. Cindy leaves behind her sister Suzanne (Bruce) Johnston of Worcester, and her brothers Paul (Patty) Sioda of Worcester, Curtis (Linda) Stake of Boylston, Robert (Lisa) Stake of Worcester, and John (Heather) Stake of Bennington, VT. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and her sister in-law Connie Stake of Winder, GA.

Cindy was predeceased by her mother Marilyn Stake her father Fred Stake, her brother Fred Stake Jr., her nephew John Eric Stake and her grandniece Stella Stake.

Cindy worked at Norton Company for many years. She also was a caregiver for many people including her mother. Cindy graduated from Burncoat High School in 1973. Cindy was an avid sports fan especially of the Patriots. Cindy was the most loving and caring sister, aunt and friend one could ever know. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her nephew Logan.

Cindy loved going to the ocean and her time down the Cape in Truro. She loved traveling and enjoyed time in Hawaii and California. She loved many types of music, camping and being out in nature. She loved animals and spending time with her dogs.

Cindy was a special soul to all who knew her. She was always calm and never complained ever when her life became difficult. She always had a positive effect on those she spent time with. She was very grateful to her caregiver Paula over the last two years.

Cindy will be greatly missed by all who knew her!
