Cynthia E. Pierce

Cynthia E. Pierce, age 67, died peacefully on March 9, 2026. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Bill, her loving parents, Ed (Mac) and Betsy McDonald, and her brother Craig (Gwen).

Cindy grew up on Mt. Washington. Before Alzheimer’s disease, she and Bill owned Hair Extraordinare Salon in Bethel Park. Together they shared a life filled with laughter and love, rarely apart for more than a few hours at a time. She found her greatest joy in her grandchildren, rolling her eyes at her husband’s sense of humor, spending time with friends and family, and the simple pleasure of freshly pressed linens. She was an aunt to seven nieces and one nephew and a best friend to several women who held her in their hearts as a sister.

She is survived by her children, Lauren and Bill, her daughter-in-law Christina, her grandsons Liam, Camdyn, and Jack, and her brother Ed (Linda). Though Alzheimer’s took her far too soon, there is comfort in knowing she is reunited with her mind and with her best friend.
