Cynthia Diane Farris Johnson

Cynthia (Cindy) Diane Farris Johnson, born June 20, 1957, passed away on March 6, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Elaine Farris, her brother Ronald Dean Farris, her sister Carol Wise, and her nephew Lane Lawson.

She is survived by her husband Donnie Johnson, her sons Casey Johnson and his wife Jennifer, Dean Johnson and his wife Nicole, her grandchildren Peyton Johnson and Evelyn Johnson, and her sister Wanda Boswell and her husband Mike.

Cindy was a devoted supporter of her family, always encouraging their hopes and dreams. A longtime member of Cook Springs Baptist Church, she served faithfully and with compassion for others. She maintained a 25-year career at Huntsville Memorial Hospital, continuing her work even after receiving a liver transplant in October 2001. In her later years, though homebound, she remained a steady source of love, strength, and guidance for her family, living as a quiet reminder that miracles endure and that faith continues to sustain.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister whose quiet resilience touched everyone around her.
