She is survived by her devotedhusband of 55 years, Pete; her children, David and Jenna; her brothers, Donand Paul; her sisters, Karen, Martha, and Jan; her beloved grandchildren,Anna, Alan, Vika, Sasha, and Bohdan; and brothers/sisters in law.Cindy loved lifedeeply and lived it fully. An adventurous spirit, she made her home in Arizona,New Mexico, California, Alaska, and Washington, embracing each chapter withcuriosity and courage.She was a devoted wifeand mother whose greatest joy was her family, extended family, and friends.Cindy was an artist in many forms, most especially a gifted quilter whosecreations will be treasured for generations. She was also an accomplishedathlete, earning national honors in the breaststroke — a reflection of herdetermination and strength.Cindy brought lightand laughter wherever she went. Her quick wit and joyful spirit kept thosearound her smiling. Professionally, she worked in several fields, includingfinancial management, and earned a degree in computing — an achievement thatreflected both her intelligence and perseverance.She was the beautifulstar and life and light of our world, and she will be deeply missed beyondwords.
