Cynthia “Cindy” Rotruck

Cynthia "Cindy" Jo (Daffern) Rotruck, 76, of Forestburg, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026.

Born on September 25, 1949, in Clarksville, Texas, to J.E. and Ruby (Baird) Daffern, Cindy met the love of her life, Richard Rotruck, while attending Lewisville High School. The couple married on October 21, 1967, in Lewisville, beginning a devoted partnership that lasted 58 years.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Rachel Mitchell, and her granddaughter Liberty Roark. She is survived by her husband, Richard Rotruck of Forestburg; her daughter, Jill Roark of Forestburg; four grandchildren, Richard Mitchell and wife Ellie of Ohio, Ryan Mitchell of McKinney, Avery Roark of Forestburg, and Witt Roark of Lewisville; and her sister, Beverly Ament and husband John of Atlanta, Texas.
