Though her life on earth was far too short, Crystal leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to her family.Crystal was born in 1992 to her loving parents, Zaher Al-Sheikh and Huda Al-Sheikh. She grew up surrounded by the love of her family and carried those values into her own home.She was the beloved wife of Matthew Savaya and the devoted mother of five beautiful children: her cherished daughter Sophia, and her beloved sons Zayn, Isaiah, Santino and newborn baby Xander.Crystal was a loving sister to Christopher Al-Sheikh (Ronya), Charles Al-Sheikh, Amber Al-Sheikh, and Marcus Al-Sheikh. She was also the cherished granddaughter of the late George and Souad Al-Sheikh and Layla and the late Kamel Yaldo.She is also lovingly remembered by her in-laws, Wahid Savaya and Shahrazat Savaya, and her sisters-in-law Maryann Salmo (Robert) and Maxine Miners (David).Crystal's gentle spirit, warm heart, and selfless love for her children defined her life. Her greatest joy was being a mother and nurturing her family with endless care and devotion.As people of faith, we trust in God's promise of eternal life. In our sorrow, we find comfort in the words of Christ:"I am the resurrection and the life.
