Cruz fought a long and courageous battle against cancer with strength, faith, and determination until the Lord called him home to eternal rest.Cruz was born on September 18, 1978, in Guanajuato, Mexico to, Manuel Huichapan and Maria Socorro Villanueva. Though born to them, Cruz was lovingly raised by Aureliano Ramirez and Maria Mantojano, who welcomed him into their home and raised him with care, guidance, and love. Through their support, he grew into a man known for his resilience, compassion, and deep devotion to his family.Cruz was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He shared a loving life with his wife, Damaris Huichapan, and was a proud father to his children Perla, Mauro, Xenia, Christian, Jose, Cruz Jr., and Emily. His family was the center of his world, and he worked hard to provide for and care for those he loved.He was also a proud grandfather to Lupita, Lorenzito, Miguel, Juanito, Oscar, Jovanni, Bella, Adrian, and Elianna, who brought immense joy to his life. Cruz is also survived by his siblings, Jose Villanueva Jr. and Amador Villanueva, along with many extended relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.Cruz will be remembered for his strength, his unwavering faith, and the love he shared with everyone around him. Even in the face of illness, he remained strong for his family and continued to inspire those who knew him with his courage and perseverance.While his family and friends deeply mourn his loss, they find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.
